Altınyıldız Classics brand as part of its holding, Turkey's strong fashion retail company BR Retailing proves the value given to education with his collaboration with Ege University. The Store Management Program, which will be opened with the cooperation of BR Retailing and Ege University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, aims to contribute to the educated workforce, which is one of the important problems of retail.
Changing customer needs and emerging technologies with the most innovative and one of the fastest growing sectors of retailing in Turkey, as well as all over the world, especially to plunge into at a young age working life and for those who want to advance a good career which promises a significant area. Qualified workforce development, one of the most important needs of retail, is of great importance for the development of the industry.
BR Retailing, which is aware of this need and aims to do its part as one of the biggest players in the sector, has created and implemented the Store Management Program, which will start in September 2018, in cooperation with Ege University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.
The announcement of this valuable program was made on Tuesday, May 15, with a ceremony held at Ege University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. At the ceremony held with the participation of Ege University Rector Professor Doctor Necdet Budak, Board Member Kamran Habif and Human Resources Director Uğur Gülce representing BR Retailing were also present to convey their excitement.
The Store Management Program, which will provide professional career and expertise opportunities to everyone who works and wants to work in retail, will be held for 2 years by hands-on lessons by the valuable teachers of Ege University and professionals who have experienced the real field experience of BR Retailing. Students who have passed to the fourth grade in the 2018-2019 academic year will be able to participate in applied content. Students who succeed as a result of applied courses will be employed as a Store Manager in BR Retailing after graduation. Students who prefer the Store Management Program will be able to learn the industry, to explore the market, to follow trends, to make quick decisions based on changing customer needs and to obtain the basic behavior principles that a manager should have.
While the program offers students the opportunity to work part-time in stores, it gives priority to BR Retailing's recruitment processes after graduation.
